Sister Jillian North, who many of you know, has committed to run 25 miles this November in aid of the charity Mind.

Mind are the leading mental health charity in England and Wales.  Mind believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They'll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.

When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what Mind do. They empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them.

 

Jill Says:

After reflecting on my own mental health during the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic, I have decided to support the charity Mind.

I hope to raise awareness of how important it is to look after our mental health and how running can help improve our mental health and wellbeing.

 

We are so proud of Jill, who has been a dedicated Nurse since 1985 and cared for the patients of Ainsdale Medical Centre for the last 17 years.
