We continually look for ways to improve our services and ensure that our patients receive the highest standards of care and support.

This rating reflects our commitment to providing services that are:

- Well-led
The inspection recognised the hard work of our staff and our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare for our patients.
Veteran Friendly Accredited Practice
We are proud to be an accredited Veteran Friendly GP Practice.
This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to supporting military veterans and ensuring they receive access to appropriate healthcare and support services. We encourage all veterans to let us know about their military service so that this can be recorded in their medical records.
Pride in Practice Gold Award
Ainsdale Medical Centre has achieved the Pride in Practice Gold Award, recognising our commitment to providing an inclusive, welcoming and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ patients.
This award demonstrates our dedication to equality and diversity, and to ensuring that everyone receives high-quality healthcare regardless of their background or identity.
Supporting People Living with Dementia
We are committed to providing compassionate and accessible care for people living with dementia and their carers.
Our team works closely with patients, families and support organisations to help individuals live well with dementia and access the support they need.
Supporting Carers
We recognise the vital role that carers play within our community and are committed to identifying and supporting carers whenever possible.
We provide information, signposting and access to local support services to help carers maintain their own health and wellbeing whilst caring for others.
Breastfeeding Friendly Practice
We are proud to support breastfeeding families and provide a welcoming environment for parents and babies.
Our team is committed to offering support, information and encouragement to families throughout their feeding journey.
Training the Healthcare Professionals of the Future
Ainsdale Medical Centre is an approved Training Practice.
We are proud to support the development of future healthcare professionals by providing training opportunities for GP Registrars, medical students and other healthcare professionals.
Training practices help ensure the NHS continues to develop skilled, compassionate clinicians for the future.
Supporting Accessibility and Inclusion
We are committed to making our services accessible to everyone.
To support patients with additional needs, we offer:
- Reasonable adjustments where required
- Accessible information
- Interpreter services
- Support for patients with sensory needs
- Assistance for patients living with learning disabilities or dementia
We continually review our services to ensure all patients can access care in a way that works best for them.
Working With Our Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Our Patient Participation Group plays an important role in helping us understand our community's needs.
The group provides valuable feedback, helps shape future developments and works with the practice to improve patient experience.
We want to thank our PPG members for their ongoing support and contribution.
Listening and Improving
We actively seek feedback from our patients through:
- NHS Friends and Family Test
- Patient surveys
- Patient Participation Group meetings
- Complaints and compliments
- NHS GP Patient Survey results
Patient feedback helps us identify what we do well and where we can make improvements to provide the best possible service.
Thank You
Our achievements would not be possible without the continued support of our patients, Patient Participation Group and dedicated staff team.
We remain committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare and continuously improving the services we offer to our community.
